President Donald Trump said he expects additional talks between US negotiators and Iran to take place this week, according to an Axios report cited by multiple outlets.
Trump made the comments during a phone interview with Axios on Sunday. "I expect more talks with Iran (this week)," he said, adding, "They want to make a deal, but it is not the deal that I want to make. It is what we would have maybe agreed to a year ago. They overplayed their" hand, according to Arab News, which cited Axios.
